Pharmaceutical Grade vs Cosmetic Grade

Rodan + Fields is Pharmaceutical grade skincare. The FDA requires that Pharmaceutical grade products be 99.9% pure ingredients. Products must contain 0.1% or less of bacteria. ONLY 5% of the skincare industry is under the regulations established by the FDA & considered Pharmaceutical grade skincare products!  

Cosmetic grade: The FDA allows cosmetic grade products to contain up to 30% bacteria! Ingredients may only be 70% pure. They are often a large breeding ground for bacteria, which can lead to contact dermatitis or worse.

95% of the Skincare Industry is cosmetic quality & is unregulated by the FDA. Cosmetic companies are NOT required to register their products with the FDA, which means cosmetic products are subjective & do not reflect or require scientific testing. (R+ F does NOT test on animals.)

Can I be "real" with all of you? I joined R+F for a variety of reasons. One of the biggest reasons was my face was a MESS!! I started using Soothe for Rosacea in early March. In May, I added Unblemish Sulfur Wash to my routine for the acne outbreaks I was experiencing. The pic on the left was Day 1, no makeup and no filter. The pic on the right was taken this morning. No filter and I am completely foundation FREE. I have on mascara, a light dusting of RF Mineral Peptides Powder and tinted chapstick. That's IT!!! I would have NEVER left my house without wearing foundation before. I do it EVERY DAY now and I love it!!

I'm a REAL person and these are my REAL results. I was IN TEARS on Mother's Day morning this year because I was embarrassed for my own family to see me covered in pimples.
