Fact or Fiction: Working Out Leads to More Acne Breakouts

Fiction. Breaking a sweat doesn’t have to lead to breakouts, though working out can create an environment that’s conducive to acne.

Pimples occur when bacteria gets trapped in the skin’s hair follicles, not the skin’s sweat glands. However, if the sweat is trapped between your skin and tight-fitting clothes, the moisture can mix with the skin’s bacteria, oil and dead skin cells to create a pimple.

If you have acne-prone skin or simply want to avoid exercise-induced blemishes, start by wearing loose-fitting clothing to your workout.

Just say NO to Razor Burn this Summer!

I often get asked, how to make shaving your bikini line beautiful and no red bumps and burn!  Our products can help!!  I have many very happy bikini clad customers this summer!  

1.) Hang out in hot shower for 5-10 minutes first or soak in warm bath.

2.) Gently exfoliate (Micro Dermabrasion paste before you start shaving.

3.) Shave in same direction hair grows - apply a gentle shaving cream or use our unblemish sulphur wash.
