Pumpkin Spice Smoothie
Are you ready for a snuggly, cozy fall? Smoothie Sundays can and should still be part of your arsenal! You can just vary them to include fall produce, like the pumpkin in my Spiced Pumpkin Smoothie Recipe. This smoothie will keep your cravings at bay with the filling fiber from the pumpkin and all the comfort and heat from the spices.
Be prepared and combat all of those tempting treats of the season with this yummy and nutritious smoothie that is perfect for your afternoon snack. It feels “milkshake-y” and thick. Back off dairy! We don’t need you anymore!

What about the Spice?

As you know from my other posts, there are amazing benefits from our common household spices. They have warming, detoxifying and metabolism-boosting properties. The concept of Pumpkin Spice is actually really healthy when you create recipes using all natural, whole food ingredients.
Some of the main aromatic spices are included in this recipe— cinnamon and nutmeg!
What are we waiting for? Let’s get prepping! 😉

Enjoy!
We ALL indulge from time to time, but whenever we can make our own recipes, we can feel good about the ingredients, because we are aware of everything that goes into it (unlike all those tempting yet super processed pumpkin-y lattes that are lurking around!), and it’s no different with what we put into our smoothies.
