RED LINE: My husband has been practicing law for 10 years now. He started his career in a prominent law firm in Cincinnati, then moved in-house with General Electric. Currently, he serves as General Counsel for a well established brand here in Charlotte. He has always provided more than enough for our large family and he is very good at what he does. The red line is representative of his consistent pay increases over the past 10 years.

GREEN LINE: When he started his career I had been teaching for three years and had earned my Masters Degree to increase my salary. I worked for 9 years. I resigned from teaching when we had the twins and spent 2.5 years home and loving on my 4 little ducks. For the last 2 years I have worked with Rodan + Fields. Still at home and on average 15 hours a week. The green line is representative of my projected income in 2015.

In March of this year, I became the breadwinner in our household. I'm officially earning more than my lawyer husband!!
